Mission

To champion the Canadian Port System in matters related to government policy, trade, competitiveness and public awareness in order to contribute to sustainable transportation.

This mission will be achieved by:

• Creating acceptance and advocacy among new and existing members that are receiving value from the Association’s activities in order to build true commitment to and engagement in the Association.
  
• Building and sustaining partnerships with governments, industry and others in order to foster an understanding of the Association’s expertise and enhance the reputation of the Association in Canada and internationally.
  
• Creating a strong culture of involvement to meet the forecasted growth and needs of the Association over the long term.
  
• Establishing and sustaining lines of communication to members in order to clarify roles and expectations, show value, and build commitment.
