Management

A Board of 11 Directors manages the business of the Association, including the Immediate Past Chair, two Directors chosen from each of the following geographic areas: Atlantic; Quebec (St. Lawrence); Great Lakes and Pacific; one Director representing the Associate Members; and one Director representing the Affiliate Members. The Executive Director is responsible for ongoing operations.

The ACPA has taken a lead role on a number of important public policy issues related to the port community. To do this the Association has a very active Board of Directors who develops action plans from the directions provided by the members at its Annual General Meeting. In addition to this, the ACPA has a number of dedicated Committees that work diligently on specific aspects of port operations.
